The DECC's Harbor Side Ballroom is on the thrid floor of the new conference center, directly overlooking the harbor. The large full wall of windows provides one of the best views in Duluth for the Duluth Lift Bridge. The room has many options for your lighting decor. Starting with the standard up lighting package, we place a light on every other panel around the room, then we have two strip lights in a "V" around each of the 5 large columns breaking up the window wall. The room has nice high ceilings, so we are able to offer wedding monogram projection both in the main room as well as outside in the lobby over the stair case. We do offer bistro for this room, as well as battery opperated lights for under cocktail tables. Duluth Event Lighting has been working with this veune for over 20 years and has lit many of the DECC's staff own personal weddings.

We post almost every single wedding and event we light on our Facebook page. The website is for quick info gathering. If you want to deep dive into more photos of our lighting in the Harbor Side Ballroom, then each button link is to a photo gallery on Facebook. Each venue has a gallery per year. Also, it should be noted that most of our photos are taken at 11pm or midnight right before we take the event down. The room does have can lights that are on a dimmer. Late at night when most of our photos are taken the room lights are off, giving us the best look for our lighting. We get asked so many times, if how it looks at midnight is how it is going to look during dinner.
