The Horizon Room at the DECC is on the second floor of the new conference center. The room is smaller and under the Harbor Side Ballroom on the third floor. The Horizon room does not have a view of the harbor from inside the room, but does in the lobby area outside. Duluth Event Lighting has two starting prices for standard wedding up lighting packages for this venue: The room, and the Horizon Room + the lobby. The nice thing about this kind of venue layout is that you can have your guests dancing the night away on the dance floor but still have an outside area for your guests to have conversations while the loud music is playing. Lighting options for the Horizon room include the standard up lighting packages, wedding monograms and glowing cocktail tables. The DECC also has the Harbor Side Ballroom up stairs and the Lake Superior Ballroom in the City Side center for your wedding reception venue needs. Duluth Event Lighting has been working in this venue for over 20 years and has a very good relationship with all the DECC staff.
