- I was absolutely blown away by Duluth Event Lighting for our wedding reception at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, MN. Ken was amazing to work with and brought my romantic dusty blue vision to life! He followed up multiple times to make sure we were on the same page for up lighting color, and even sent me two different proofs once the color was set because he thought it needed adjustment, and it turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The lights elevated the entire atmosphere and the whole venue was so dreamy thanks to Ken and his team. I cannot thank or recommend them enough.
- I hired Duluth Event Lighting to hang bistro lights for my wedding and they looked amazing! I contacted them via email and they quickly responded and answered any questions I had. They delivered and set up the bistro lighting the day before my wedding and stopped in on the morning of my wedding to make sure I was happy with the look and that all the bulbs were working. Great experience and I'm glad I went with them!
- Ken and Duluth Event Lighting provided up lighting for our wedding at Sacred Heart Music Center. The venue itself was so beautiful that we wanted to enhance the amazing features of the space, and Ken really knew how to do just that! He was so responsive to emails and the soft gold color that he helped us select was absolutely perfect and was exactly what we were hoping for! The set up and takedown were seamless, and we had an amazing experience overall!
- In May of 2021 my now husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Sacred Heart Music center and the Duluth Event Lighting team WOWed us! The Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis on the cathedral ceiling was breathtaking. The lighting during the ceremony and reception was magically and everything we hoped for. I would 101% recommend Duluth Event Lighting as they are very easy to work with. Thank you Duluth Event Lighting for making our special day even more special!
- Duluth Event Lighting CRUSHED IT at our wedding! Ken is amazing and did up lighting in rose gold throughout the ballroom. It was the perfect compliment to our color scheme of soft rose gold, gold and ivory tones and our vintage touches! We could not be happier with the way the lighting turned out. Duluth Event Lighting was amazing to work with from start to finish. Ken is super creative, responsive, talented, and professional. He responded to our calls and emails right away, checked in as the big day for closer, and made the ballroom absolutely stunning for our wedding day. We absolutely recommend Duluth Event Lighting to anyone looking to add some "wow" to their wedding space!
- Ken did my lighting at Spirit Mountain in Duluth in October 2018. The lighting he provided was absolutely beautiful and really added to our decoration. The space of my reception was dim to begin with so the lights chosen brightened things up just right and was excellent. Ken was also lovely to work with and worked with my vendors and coordinators to help make our wedding a success.

- Friendly, knowledgeable about our venue, responsive to emails and the lighting was PERFECT! my daughter's wedding and reception were both in the Greysolon Ballroom. We had soft white lighting for the ceremony, and switched to deep blue lighting for the reception. Ken was awesome to work with in the process of scheduling, setting up and advice. The woman who came to switch colors between the ceremony and reception was extremely helpful and pleasant.
- We got married on August 11, 2018 at Barkers Island Inn and I could not be happier with the work Duluth Event Lighting did! Our venue was absolutely gorgeous! The monogram was exactly how I wanted it and the up lighting was beautiful! I am so happy we decided to go with them for our wedding. I highly recommend!!
- Overall we were very pleased with the lighting provided by Duluth Event Lighting for our wedding at Clyde Iron Works in Duluth, MN. The lights looked amazing and really set the atmosphere well. Ken was great to work with and I would say his strength is his willingness to make it exactly what you want - he's very flexible. We met with him before our wedding and went through some of the colors and he was happy to create the custom colors we were looking for.
- Ken / Duluth Event Lighting did an AMAZING job!! I live in California, so trying to decide on lighting for my wedding in MN and not being able to see it in person seemed like it was going to be tricky. Rest assured, Ken truly took great care of me. He helped answer all my questions and gave me great suggestions, and come the day of the wedding (still not meeting him or seeing the lighting until just a little while before walking down the aisle,) he ended up matching the lighting to exactly what I wanted.
- Ken did an amazing job at our wedding at Spirit Mountain. He transformed the room into exactly what we were hoping for. The up lighting and bistro lights made the space feel so much more elegant and romantic. Ken is also very easy to work with and answers emails in a very timely manner. Couldn't have been happier with our experience with Duluth Event Lighting!

Every step of the process was made easy and fun, and the end result made all the difference in transforming our venue into someplace magical (gotta love those stars on the ceiling!) - Duluth Event Lighting left me absolutely speechless. We got married in the same room as our reception, so for the ceremony the lights were off and when the guests came back after the reset was complete everything was absolutely stunning. A whole new room with such a dramatic and romantic feel. I owe it all to Duluth Event Lighting and am in love with every single picture I see.
- Ken did an amazing job for our wedding. He even made some last minute changes on the day of the wedding as requested by our planner. Very accommodating and professional. The room looked amazing and the entrance to the Moorish Room was just spectacular! Thank you for listening to my suggestions and making my vision over the top beautiful! Our guests loved the atmosphere you helped create!

- Ken was great to work with! He worked with us early on to help us decide exactly what we wanted. He gave us lots of options and kept showing us something new until we had the design set. Not only did his custom gobo look great, the price was for less that it would have been for only a fraction of the price of a decorator to put up a back drop. The amount that he helped us save from a decorating fee paid for the small fee that he charged to light/decorate the entire ballroom!! On the day of the wedding, it was such a relief to know that he already had the decorating done. I would highly recommend Ken and Duluth Event Lighting for anybody who needs a great decorating idea for the wedding or event!
We had yellow lighting at the Superior Shores Resort in Two Harbors for my daughter's wedding reception. The room was absolutely beautiful with an amazing radiant glow. Ken is a very kind and easy person to do business with. He returns messages promptly. I highly recommend doing business with Duluth Event Lighting.
